Modern processor ready for AI and graphics-intense future applications

The newest version of the Mobility Edge platform includes an up-to-date, octacore processor with new Qualcomm 3rd-generation artificial intelligence (AI) engine and higher-powered graphics processing unit (GPU). The CPU provides more than enough processing power for customers' traditional applications, while providing significantly higher AI and graphics performance for new applications that users will want to deploy in the future. The CT30 XP is paired with fast, Universal Flash Storage (UFS) technology for lower power consumption and significantly faster boot-up time and random-access capability. The CT30 XP is powered by an easy-to-replace, warmswap, 3,400 mAh battery for uninterrupted use.

High-performance networking

Selected SKUs offer Wi-Fi 6, based on the IEEE 802.11 ax standard. In high congestion environments Wi-Fi 6 provides greater throughput and more reliable connections due to innovations like traffic prioritization, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA), and beamforming. The CT30 XP is also upgraded to Bluetooth version 5.1, which includes a variety of power saving features as well as angle-of-arrival based direction finding capabilities.

FlexRange brings long range scanning performance found in industrial warehouse devices to lightweight, pocketable devices like the CT30 XP. The ultimate in flexibility, FlexRange enables most scanning use cases in a single, compact, lightweight device without compromising range or speed, enabling retailers get more done while managing fewer device types.

The CT30 XP is compatible with powerful software for retail, healthcare and last-mile delivery applications The Operational Intelligence suite of solutions delivers deep operational insights, enables workflow automation that prevents issues before they happen and helps manage issues in real time to greatly reduce IT support costs. The Smart Talk Unified Communications overcomes the problem of fragmented communications and empowers teams with enterprise-grade security for voice calling, text and media messaging, and user presence - all from one device. The Honeywell Smart Pay solution, available in Q2 2022, enables retail, delivery, and hospitality businesses to process secure, PCI-compliant payments, including simple tap-to-pay and pin-on-glass without bulky hardware add ons.

Extensive accessory line including the universal dock

The CT30 XP comes with a complete set of accessories, including Universal Dock chargers which can be field upgraded by the end user without tools to support multiple Honeywell field mobility computers now and in the future. Other accessories include an easy-to-replace, warm swap battery, wearable accessory for hands free use, IH40 RFID handle for fast cycle counting, ruggedizing boot and low profile belt clip for healthcare.
