For investment protection, you can reuse LTO-9, LTO-8, or LTO-7 drives from an HPE MSL 1/8 autoloader, MSL2024, or MSL6480 in the HPE StoreEver MSL3040 Tape Library. There are no additional license fees for installing new drives in an existing library. Partitioning allows each partitioned library to be presented to the host as an independent library, separate from other partitions in the library.
