Compatible with HPE Storage SN8000C (MDS 9500 Series) and HPE Storage SN8500C / SN8700C (MDS 9700 Series) multilayer directors and MDS 9100, 9200 and, MDS 9300 series fabric switches with up to 48 autosensing fibre channel ports capable of speeds of 16, 8, 4, and 2Gbps. Offers flexibility to "pay as you grow" by scaling the HPE Storage Fibre Channel Switch C-series SN6010C from 12port to 48port density, after enabling additional ports, and adding on-demand port activation licenses. Delivers outstanding availability and reliability by providing optional redundancy on all major components, such as power supplies and fans.

Starting NX-OS 9.2(1), Cisco DCNM is renamed as Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC).
